In September 2018 my old bandmate from the Good Night & Good Morning days, Sahan, was visiting Milwaukee for a week. He lives in California now, so this was the closest we had been geographically for a couple of years. I took the opportunity to visit and jam with him for about 6 hours on a Tuesday afternoon. I had a handful of song ideas I wanted him to play around with, and once we had a solid groove going, I set up one microphone with the intention of capturing our ideas so we wouldn't forget them. But once I got home and listened to the demos we had made, I realized I loved them too much to not put them out. Over the next couple of months I overdubbed guitars, vocals, shakers, bass, etc until we ended up with this EP. The songs took on a life of their own...
